About David
David Langgle-Martin serves as the Chief Housing Officer at Park Center, leading the organization’s supportive housing initiatives at the intersection of mental health, substance use, and homelessness. Since joining Park Center in 2016, David has played a key role in expanding the organization’s housing impact, including the implementation of Nashville’s first high-fidelity Housing First program, the formation of a mission-oriented property management department, and the launch of an affordable housing development arm—resulting in the creation of 50 new supportive housing units.
With a background in clinical social work and peer recovery support, David brings a unique, person-centered perspective to housing strategies. His areas of expertise include psychiatric rehabilitation, trauma-informed service and housing design, property management in supportive housing, and program performance improvement. He has worked at all levels of the homeless crisis response system, from direct service to program and organizational leadership, as well as training and technical assistance.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida and a Master of Social Work from Florida State University. He is also a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP).
Beyond his role at Park Center, David is an advocate for system-level change in Nashville’s homelessness response. He was elected to Metro Nashville’s Homelessness Planning Council and serves as Co-chair of the Housing Opportunities Committee. Additionally, he serves as Chair of Metropolitan Development and Housing Authority’s Shelter Plus Care Advisory Council and as a Board Member and Resident Services Committee Chair at The Village at Glencliff.
Outside of work, David enjoys good coffee, good music, and homesteading with his wife and daughter.
