Some days are bigger than others. Last week was one of them.
On Thursday July 9th, we gathered with local leaders, neighbors, and partners from across the community to celebrate the Ribbon Cutting for Park Center North, our brand-new Permanent Supportive Housing project and the largest in Park Center’s 42 year history. This building will bring safe, stable, and beautiful living space to 26 of our neighbors living with persistent mental illness and substance use disorder. For many of them, this isn’t just an address. It’s a foundation to rebuild a life on.
We were honored to have Metro Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell join us again and share a few words, alongside Council Members Emily Benedict and Burkley Allen. And to everyone who came out to celebrate with us thank you. You made this dedication truly special.
Park Center North stands as proof of what’s possible when the people and organizations come together for the good of our community. This project would not exist without the generosity and partnership of so many including Those pictured below and, The Metro Housing Commission, The Barnes Fund Commission, and Terracon.
To every partner, donor, and neighbor who helped make this day possible: thank you for believing in the power of a safe home to change a life.
