Emerging Adults

Emerging Adults Services is a strengths-based program that provides opportunities for young adults to pursue their goals in the areas of education, vocation, living situation and community integration.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation

 Offers skill building, social integration and recovery workshops, Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm. Classes are offered daily focusing on either continuing education or pursuing employment.

Housing

Two (2) types of housing are available: Supported living with 24-hour staff for females; and Therapeutic Living with staff supervision provided for four (4) hours each evening for males.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation

  • For young adults (ages 18-24) with a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness
  • Not appropriate for individuals with intellectual disabilities who have an IQ of less than 70

Housing

  • For young adults (ages 18-24) with a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness
  • Must have a history of mental health hospitalizations OR adolescent foster care OR currently be homeless
  • Cannot be a sex offender or have a past of sexual acting-out behaviors
  • No insurance or income requirements
  • Not appropriate for individuals with intellectual disabilities who have an IQ of less than 70
