Emerging Adults

Emerging Adults Services is a strengths-based program that provides opportunities for young adults to pursue their goals in the areas of education, vocation, living situation and community integration.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Day Program

Offers skill building, social integration and recovery workshops, Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm. Classes offered daily focus on continuing education or pursuing employment. Members can participate in a daily community outing.

Housing

Two (2) types of housing are available in Emerging Adults:

  • Supported Living with 24-hour staff (for women).
  • Therapeutic Community Living with staff supervision provided in the afternoon (6 days a week).

  • Tutoring

Emerging Adults Psychiatric Rehabilitation Day Program

  • For young adults (ages 18-24) with a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness
  • Not appropriate for individuals with intellectual disabilities who have an IQ of less than 70

Emerging Adults Housing

  • For young adults (ages 18-24) with a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness
  • Must have a history of mental health hospitalizations OR adolescent foster care OR currently be homeless
  • Cannot be a sex offender or have a past of sexual acting-out behaviors
  • No insurance or income requirements
  • Not appropriate for individuals with intellectual disabilities who have an IQ of less than 70
